Takamuku-no-Kuromaro was born about 610.
Takamuku-no-Kuromaro was sent with Ono-no-Imoko to China in the 16th year of the reign of Empress Regnant Suiko (608). Returning home after 33 years took part in Taika-no-Kaishin (Reformation of Taika Era). He is said to have drafted regulations for eight government departments in collaboration with Priest Min.
Later was sent to China as an envoy after which nothing further is known of him (654).
