In 1931 Takashi studied at Tokyo University.
Career
Under Dr. Hiroshi Ikeuchi, was engaged in the collection of historic materials on Manchuria for “Authentic Records of Li Dynasty.” In 1941, proceeded to China and worked at the Peking Branch of the Survey Bureau of the Manchurian Railway Company. Following the end of the war, returned to Japan and became an instructor of Ritsu- meikan University, Kyoto. Professor of the Tokyo Municipal University (since
1950). Specialized in the study of Korean History. Author of “Korean History” and edited "History of Development of The Chinese Race.”
