Takashi Ishii graduated from the Law Department of Tokyo University.
Career
Takashi Ishii entered Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Since then chiefly assigned to posts dealing with overseas development affairs. Appointed chief of the Rehabilitation Section of the Central Liaison Bureau (1947), and chief of the First, the Second and Third Sections of the Inspection Department of the Administrative Supervision Board (1948). Then, Takashi Ishii appointed chief of the Emigration Section of the European and American Affairs Bureau (1953), and chief of the Third Section of Migration Bureau of the Foreign Ministry (1955).
