Takashi Oizumi was born in 1902 in Miyagi, Japan.

Education

Takashi Oizumi finished the Second Year Course at Philosophy Department of Jochi (Sophia) University in 1929 then he studied in Germany, Holland and England.

Career

Takashi Oizumi returned home after making inspection tours of Belgium, Germany and Italy and later became president of Jochi (Sophia) University and chief director of Jochi (Sophia) Gakuen (Academy). Held additional posts of member of Daigaku Setchi Shingikai (Council for Establishment of Universities), councilor of Daigaku Kijun Kyokai (University Standard Association) and permanent director of Japan Private Universities' Association and National Federation of Private Universities' Associations.
