He graduated from Economics Department, Keio University (1925). Then he went to U.S.A. and attended Columbia University.
Career
Takashi Sugawara wrote and produced plays including "Moon is Blue." He translated foreign plays and wrote theater criticism. He was president of the Sugawara Electric Appliance Company and chairman of the Experimental Theater Committee.
