Background
Takatsukasa Fuyuie was born in 1367. He was the son of Fuyumichi from the seventh generation of Takatsukasas.

Career
Remembered as a courtier of the Muromachi Period. He was appointed minister (1411) and distinguished himself in the service of Emperor Shoko. He renounced the world (1425) and donned priestly robes under the name of Tosetsu.
