Takeo Fujiwara was born in 1897.
He became a member of the Toshiba Research Institute, and visited Europe and America to study tungsten fibre. In 1930 in awarded doctorate. In 1933 he was appointed professor of Hiroshima Bunrika (literature and science) University and in 1949 - director of Science Department of same university. He made public a number of researches concerning the single crystal of tungsten, aluminium and iron. He received the prize of the Japan Academy (1948). He was a member of the Japan Academic Council.
