Graduated from Tokyo Higher Commercial School (1921).
Career
He entered Mitsui Bank and served with its branch offices at Osaka, Shanghai, New York and Tokyo. Assigned to Dairen (Talien) Agency (1941) and later became manager of Shanghai Branch, director of Foreign Business and Public Relations Departments of the head office. Appointed director of the newly established Teikoku Bank (1948) and then became its permanent director (1949). Entered Goko Trading Company and became its managing director (1951) and later was appointed auditor of that company and of Kurashiki Spinning Company (1954).
