Takeo Tsukamoto graduated from Tokyo University in 1922.
Career
After graduating, Tsukamoto remained as assistant, then professor at Teikoku Women’s Pharmaceutical College. He was instructor at Kanazawa Medical College and became chief pharmacologist, then professor at Taipeh University to eventually become professor at Kyushu University.
He was given a bounty from the Pharmacy Promotion Society and another scholarship by the Ministry of Education for his thesis "Studies on Regional Anaesthetics."
