Career
Takeyoshi Ishikawa was editor and manager of Fujin-no-tomo magazine, then under the control of Motoko Hani and of Fujokai (1904-1911). Published Shufu-no-tomo (1917). After World War II was purged. After the purged, go was lifted rejoined Shufu-no-tomo magazine and is also director of Tokyo Publishing and Sales Company. He is considered one of the foremost publishers of women's magazines and before World War II his Shufu-no-tomo (women's companion) had the largest circulation of any periodical in Japan. Takeyoshi Ishikawa is author of Waga Aisuru Seikatsu (My cher-ished way of living), etc.
