Takio Oda graduated from Law Department of Tokyo University (1931).
Career
Takio Oda became chief of Economics Department of Central Postwar Liaison Office (1946), director of General Affairs Commercial and Research departments, director of International Trade and Industry Bureau (1950) and director of Economics Bureau of Foreign Ministry (1952). Made inspection tours of India, Thailand, Burma and Pakistan (1950) and USA (1951). Served as Minister Plenipotentiary to Britain (1954-1957). Minister to Denmark (1957).
