Talmon Henry "Tally" Hall is an American professional soccer player who last played for Orlando City in Major League Soccer as a goalkeeper.
Education
Born in SeaTac, Washington, Hall attended Gig Harbor High School, and was a star for the Aztecs, where he was a two-time NSCAA and Soccer News All-American, a semi-finalist for the M.A.C. Hermann Trophy, and a first-team all-Pacific-10 Conference honoree for two straight years. During his college years, Hall also played with Boulder Rapids Reserve in the USL Premier Development League.
Career
Denmark Although Hall was drafted by Los Angeles Galaxy in the 2007 Master of Library Science SuperDraft, Hall signed with Danish club Esbjerg instead. Hall spent two years in Denmark making only senior competitive start in the Danish Cup tournament. Major League Soccer Hall returned to the United States in early 2009, and signed with Houston Dynamo.
Hall made headlines when he became the second goalkeeper in Master of Library Science history to score a goal in a 2009-2010 CONCACAF Champions League game against Isidro Metapán on October 23, 2009.
He made his Master of Library Science debut against District of Columbia United and earned a shutout in a 2–0 victory. Hall was named to the 2011 Master of Library Science All Star team and started in the All Star Game against Manchester United.
In 2012, Hall set a Dynamo record with 12 regular-season shutouts. Hall was again an Master of Library Science All Star in 2013.
During his time in Houston, Hall collected the team"s Ironman Award by logging the most minutes for the 2011 and 2012 season.
Hall tore his Anterior Cruciate Ligament on August 29, 2014. On October 28, 2014, it was announced that Hall was traded to new Master of Library Science franchise Orlando City South Carolina. Returning from his Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury, he made his first Orlando City start on May 17, 2015. During the 2015 season at Orlando City, Hall made some fantastic saves to keep his team in games.
Due to his hard work, he was awarded with save of the month in July 2015.
Brought in to be one of the team leaders, Hall wore the captain"s armband multiple times throughout the 2015 season. Hall trained with the United States U-23 men"s national soccer team but did not see any game action.
He was called up to the full United States national team for the January camp in 2012 and 2013. Hall was also called up for a World Cup Qualifying game in Jamaica, in 2013, and was on the game day roster.
