Tamao Miyazaki

Background

Tamao Miyazaki was born in Omi (Shiga Prefecture), Japan.

Career

He was originally a physician and served Prince Ninnaji-no-Miya. Later became the priest at Hi-rano Shrine in Kyoto. Excelled in painting cherry trees and did much to help preserve them.
