Tamesaburo Yamamoto established Nihon Seibin (Bottle Manufacturing) Company, and when it was merged into the Dai-Nippon Brewery Company, became its managing director.
When the company was decentralized after World War II into two independent units, the Asahi Brewery Company and the Nippon Brewery Company, he became president of the former organization in 1949. Tamesaburo Yamamoto was concurrently president of Hotel New Osaka, a Rotarian and a leading figure in Japanese business circles.
