Career
He is one of the prominent student leaders of West Bengal, India. He has a close association with Subrata Bakshi, Sudip Bandyopadhyay and Partha Chatterjee.Started with District leadership in Chhatra Parishad in Congress, moved to State Secretary of Chhatra Parishad and then became the State President of Pragatisheel Indira Congress student"s wing PICP.Then moved on to join TMCP under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee and since then from 2009 he is in TMCP and Mamata Banerjee made him the West Bengal state General Secretary of TMCP, All India Trinamool Student Congress. His name got associated with Presidency attack in 2013.
