Career
Became assistant, lecturer and assistant professor (1923). After receiving a doctorate (1926) moved to Department of Inters nal Medicine and became sub-assistant, lecturer and assistant professor (1932). Went to Europe and America for study (1936). Transferred to the hospital attached to the Hiroshima Branch of Japan Red Cross (1939). Elected member of Japan Science Council(1951).Served also as director of the hospital attached to Kyushu University and member of Council for National Examination for Medical Practitioners.
