Career
He has been the manager of Estonian national team twice, guiding them to their highest ever Fédération internationale de football association ranking of 47th and coming close to qualifying for a major tournament for the first time in their history with reaching the Euro 2012 qualifying play-offs. He has also guided Levadia to three Estonian championships and three cup wins. Rüütli was fired by Football Club Irtysh Pavlodar on 2 May 2014.
