In 1974, organized religious and political seminars in Leningrad. Co-edited with Viktor Krivulin the samizdat magazine 37. In 1979, became one of the founders of the Free Women’s Movement in Leningrad.
Edited the samizdat magazines Zhenshchina I Rossiia and Maria. In 1980, on the opening day of the Olympic Games in Moscow, deported from the USSR. Lives in Paris. Continues her work with the Russian Free Women’s Press.
