In 1972 Tatiana Aleksandrovna graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University (now Moscow State University) of the Faculty of Journalism.
The first publication of poems took place in 1965 in the journal "Younost". In 1971-1973 Tatiana Aleksandrovna worked as a Librarian at the All-Union State Library of foreign literature. From 1976 to 1981 and 1993-2005 she was a member of the Editorial Board and Columnist of the journal "Questions of literature". Tatiana Aleksandrovna led a literary column in the" General newspaper" and "Nezavisimaya Gazeta". In 1974 she published her first poetic collection "Skvorechniki". Since 2000 Tatiana Aleksandrovna served as a Chairman (together with Oleg Chukhontsev) of the program "New names in poetry" at the cultural Foundation.
