By birth Tatiana Petrovna belonged to cultural media of Moscow nobility. She tried to print her first literature trials such as novel and few verses with the help of her cousin K.N. Bestuzhev-Ryumin, but there were no publications detected.
French translation of Lermontov’s "Demon" made by herself appeared in 1860 – "Le Demon. Legende orientale par Lermontow." Since 1861 Tatiana Petrovna was the member of Literature Fund. In the latest years of life she published Russian translation of Goethe’s Faust (part two).
