Career
Served as official of the South Manchuria Railway, the Cabinet Planning Board, private secretary of the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, private secretary of the Minister of Commerce and Industry. Elected member of the House of Peers (1946), then became president of the Keihin Isuzu Auto Sales Company, governor of Yamaguchi Prefecture (1947) and re-elected to the House of Representatives in the 1953 and 1955 elections.
