Background

Emperor Suinin also known as Ikumeiribikoisachi no Mikoto was the third son of Emperor Sujin.

Career

Tenno Suinin endeavored to strengthen and enrich the nation. He transferred the Three Sacred Treasures to a sanctuary on the Isuzu River from Kasanui Village and caused canals to be excavated in over 800 places for the benefit of farmers.
