Career
Teresa Stanton has worked as a partner of Noronha-Advogados, a Brazilian law firm with its head office in São Paulo. The firm was established in 1978, and in 1982 it opened its first international office in Miami, Florida, which it described as the first Brazilian law firm in the United States.
In 1987 the firm set up a commercial presence in London, intended to support Brazilian companies seeking access to international financial markets. The firm's network later extended to offices in Argentina, China, and Portugal. Her practice areas have included general practice, banking and finance, commercial, civil, taxation, corporate, antitrust and labor law.
