Terry Wild is a photographer, primarily uses black-and-white in a traditional "straight" manner.


Terry Wild was born in 1947 in Wilmington, Delaware, United States.


Wild earned a BA in English (1968) from Lycoming College, Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and a BFA in Still Photography (1971) from Art Center College of Design, Los Angeles.


He has operated his own photography studio since 1971, and has taught photography part-time since 1972 at Lycoming College. Since 1973 he has also been chairperson of the Photography Department at the Pennsylvania Governors' School for the Arts, Bucknell University, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Wild photographs people and environments with an emphasis on presences within the landscape . . . clarity, value, form and texture.
