Teruo Okamoto graduated from Economics Department of Keio University (1925).
Career
Teruo Okamoto entered Meiji Seito Kaisha (Sugar Manufacturing Company) (1925) and later transferred to Meiji Rubber Industry Company (1933). Returned to Meiji Sugar Manufacturing Company and became chief of its Research Section (1937). Moved to Yamagoshi Factory becoming director of its General Affairs Department (1938). After that factory was reorganized and renamed Meiji Machinery Manufacturing Company was appointed its director and then managing director.
