Townsend, Teryl Archer was born on May 9, 1938 in Coronado, California, United States. Daughter of Robert Lee and Elizabeth (Archer) Townsend.


Studies with Chen Chi, Millard Sheets, Edgar Whitney, Carl Molno, Glen Bradshaw, Maubry Brown, Edward Betts, Robert E. Wood., since 1971.


Free-lance teacher, Nantucket, Massachusetts, Connecticut, since 1974.
