Career
The Knight"s Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. During his career he flew 900+ missions. Theodor Haker was shot down on 25 July 1944 by American P-51 fighters and was killed by Polish partisans on 28 July 1944.
