Background
Theodore Jackson was born on the fifteenth of July, 1864 in Beyrout, Syria. George Jackson Eldridge was his father and Nathalie Ratch was his mother. On the thirtieth of November, 1888 Theodore arrived in China. Most of his life he lived and worked in Shanghai.
