Career
Began with Wickwire Brothers, Cortland, 1903, as chemist, later superintendent open hearth, assistant treasurer. Moved to Buffalo, 1907. Assisted in forming Wirkwire Steel Company and was vice-president and treasurer, later merged with Clinton Wright Wire Company, which was merger of Clinton Wire Cloth Company, Wright Wire Company and Morgan Spring Company (all of Massachusetts) and Spencer Wire Company, forming Wickwire Spencer Steel Corporation, of which was president until June 1925.
