Career
After graduating completed internship and teaching hospital Jaffna, Sri Lanka. Worked as a medical officer at Teaching hospital Jaffna and Base Hospital Avissawella. Proceeded for Post Graduate training in General Medicine at Colombo South Teaching Hospital. Completed MD in Internal Medicine in the year 2006 and completed the overseas training at Christian Medical College Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India.
After obtaining board certification worked for a brief period as a resident physician at Teaching hospital Jaffna and since the year 2010 attached to the Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka as a Senior Lecturer and honorary consultant physician.
