Thomas Marsh Forman

Thomas was born on January 4, 1809, in Savannah, Georgia, United States. He was the son of Joseph Bryan and Delia Forman.

Education

Thomas was educated at St. Mary's College in Maryland.

Career

Forman, a wealthy farmer from Glynn County, Georgia, served as a Democrat in the state Senate in 1847.

In 1860 he resided in Savannah. Forman served in the Provisional Confederate Congress from August 1861 until February 1862.

During the remainder of the war, Thomas raised funds for the Georgia State Navy. After the war, Forman returned to farming.
