In a practice covering many years, Mr. Jackson's work comprised several early public buildings of note, including the old Music Academy on 14th Street; Tammany Hall; Manhattan Club House, Madison Ave. & 38th St.; Brooklyn Theatre, destroyed by fire in 1876.
