He studied engineering in Washington, D. C., and in 1892 completed a course in architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Career

Beginning practice in Nashville early in the twentieth century, Mr. Marr formed a partnership with John W. Holman, maintaining that association over a period of two decades. Among the works of Marr and Holman was the Supreme Court Building in Nashville, an outstanding architectural achievement
