Tommy "Trapper" Newbould made his début for Wakefield Trinity on Saturday 22 November 1902.
Like fellow tourist H. Kershaw, he played a prominent part in the 1909 North.U. Cup success and played regularly for Yorkshire County. Newbould played in the 1910 Sydney Test.".
