He acted along with Sean Wilson, Helen Worth, Lynsay King, Emma Collinge and Adam Rickitt. In 2000 Jack P. Shepherd took over the role, as Ormson left the role of David Platt. Since leaving Coronation Street in 2000, Ormson has not had any other acting or television roles nor any television appearances.
