In 1894 he entered into partnership with the late Arnold Brunner (Brunner & Tryon), and under the firm name designed several public buildings in the city, including the Jewish Temple, Congregation Shearwith, built in 1897 on Fifth Avenue at 70th Street, the Chemistry Building for the New York City College, also did work in various other cities.
He was a member of the New York Architectural League, the American Institute of Architects and a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects.
