Career

Practiced in Cincinnati, since 1860. Was associated in practice with George H. Pendleton. County solicitor, Hamilton Company, 1873.

Partner John W. Warrington, 1875 until latter’s appointment as judge The United States of America Court of Appeals, 1909. Chairman board of trustees, City Workhouse, 1874-1879. Trustee Ohio Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Home.

1886-1894 (Chairman of the Board, 1890-1894). Member Ohio State Game and Fish Commission, 12 years. Member board of trustees in charge construction new City Hall, Cincinnati, 1888-1893.

Member of commission for proposed new State Capitol Building at Columbus, Ohio Trustee Cincinnati College.
