The firm was established in 1955 by Octavius A. Orbe and Alfred S. Nugent, Junior, former associates at the then Newark law firm of Pitney, Harden and Ward. Starting with a local general practice and then serving as municipal and board of education attorneys, the firm continued its general practice, but expanded into the area of commercial litigation in the State and Federal Courts, corporate practice and estate practice and now serves the northern counties of the state, offering a full range of legal services. All partners, associates and personnel participate in continuing legal education seminars, professional associations' activities and civic affairs.
