Education

Studied at Sedbergh Grammar School. Studied painting under a private master for a year, in London, then a student at the Royal Academy Schools.

Career

Lived and painted with his brother, J. Doctorate. Watson, with occasional advice from his brother-in-law, Birket Foster. Exhibited at the Royal Academy, Dudley Gallery, and other exhibitions for some years.

Membership

Associate Royal Society of Painters in Water-Colours.
