She is famous for her part in Puteri Gunung Ledang, the biggest budget movie in Malaysia up to 2005, in which she played the lead role, and sang the theme song, "Asmaradana". Besides appearing on stage and on camera, Tiara Jacquelina is the Managing Director of Enfiniti Productions, a Malaysian company in the arts & entertainment and television production fields. She has been involved in the arts at a very early stage, and while at school, was part of the Theatre Society, the Literary Society, and was the President of the Film Society.
She first began her film career in 1988.
In 2004, she appeared in Puteri Gunung Ledang. Following the success of the movie, Jacquelina moved on to translate it on to the stage as Puteri Gunung Ledang: The Musical.

Executive Producer of Puteri Gunung Ledang the Musical which won 8 wards at the 2006 Boh Cameronian Arts for Best Director, Original Script (Bahasa Malaysia), Best Lighting Design, Secretariat Design, Music and Sound Design, Costume Design, Supporting Actor, Audience"s Choice Award for Theatre. Executive Producer of Philisophy Ramlee the Musical which won 6 awards at the 2007 Boh Cameronian Arts for Best Director, Original Script (Bahasa Malaysia), Secretariat Design, Music and Sound Design, Best Supporting Actor, Audience"s Choice Award for Theatre.
