Tiffany Benson

Education

Benson lettered four years at Princess Anne High School where she helped lead the team to the 2005 Virginia American Automobile Association state title. She was honored as a first-team All-Tidewater selection and was named the Beach District Defensive Player of the Year after both her junior and senior seasons. Benson also excelled at track & field at Princess Anne where she was the district high jump champion and finished third in the district in the 200 meters during her junior year.

Benson posted more than 1,000 points and grabbed more than 1,000 rebounds during her standout career at National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I"s William & Mary, a member of the Colonial Athletic Association (Civil Aeronautics Administration).

Benson led the Civil Aeronautics Administration in offensive rebounding for three years graduated as the Civil Aeronautics Administration"s women"s basketball all-time leader in blocked shots with 255.

As a senior, she garnered All-Civil Aeronautics Administration Defense First Team and Second Team All-Civil Aeronautics Administration accolades. In 2009, Benson was named the Civil Aeronautics Administration Defensive Player of the Year and received Second Team All-Civil Aeronautics Administration honors.

In 2008, she was named to the All-Civil Aeronautics Administration Defensive Team and in 2007 was a member of the All-Civil Aeronautics Administration Rookie team

Career

High school College Professional Benson signed a contract to play for Limoges American Broadcasting Company in France"s Ligue Féminine de Basket (LFB), beginning in fall 2010. Limoges had recently been promotedfrom France"s second-division (Nationale Féminine 1, NF1) and played in the LFB in 2009-2010.
