Ridlen has recently published articles in Chicago Artist News and New City Magazine, has guest-blogged for the Public Broadcasting Service arts feature Art21, and is the senior editor of Bootprint. Ridlen primarily works in single channel video, and his work has been exhibited an Renwick Gallery in New York, Knock Knock Gallery, and twelve other galleries including Booster and Seven in Chicago, and Boots Contemporary Art Space in Saint Louis.
