Career
A Republican, Ryals is currently a candidate for Faulkner County Sheriff. After serving in the United States Army he transitioning into his law enforcement as a reserve deputy for the Saline County Sheriff’s Department. After a series of promotions, he was promoted to deputy where he worked on a number of high-profile cases.
His professionalism and dedication to his work quickly led to promotions to jailor, patrol, supervisor, dive team and narcotics.
After 6 years of service, Tim was hired by the Arkansas State Police. Ryals announced his candidacy for the Republican Party nomination for Faulkner County Sheriff on March 1, 2012.
He was defeated in the Republican primary with 2,759 (335%) of the vote. Following Governor Asa Hutchinson"s appointment of Andy Shock to the Arkansas State Parole Board, Ryals announced his plans to run again for the Republican Party nomination for Faulkner County Sheriff.
