Career
He is the most enduring bass player in history, appearing on eleven of their studio albums. Furthermore, he played an important role in the renewal process of the musical style embraced from 1990 onwards. As a session musician with Eddie Clarke"s Fastway, which he joined in 1987, he recorded On Target (released in 1988).
In 1988 he joined, after Paul Johnson left during Destiny tour.
Due to his young age (at that time he was 22) and dynamic stage presence, he became adored by fans. He made his recording debut with two live albums, Rock "n" Roll Gypsies (1989) and Greatest Hits Live (1990).
His addition "seemed to inject some new life into the group". He has played on every album since 1989"s Rock "n" Roll Gypsies.
