He attended New York University where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama and his Master of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Writing from the Tisch School of the Arts.
He is the creator of the award winning one-man musical, The View from Here, the song cycle LINES, and Costs of Living. He is a premiere voice of Asians and Asian Americans in theatre and works frequently with such Broadway artists as Telly Leung and Jose Llana.
