Timothy J. O’Neill

Timothy O’Neill was born on February 7, 1949 in Bethesda, Maryland, United States, in the family of Donald J. and Mary Jean (Kelly) O’Neill.

Education

In 1971 Timothy received Bachelor of Arts at Claremont McKenna College, then he got Master of Arts at University of California in1974, and Doctor of Philosophy there in 1981.

Career

Timothy worked as a research fellow at Brookings Institution, Washington, District of Columbia, United States, in 1978 - 1979. Then he became an assistant professor of political science at Tulane University, New Orleans, in 1979 - 1982. He is an assistant professor of political science at Wellesley College, Wellesley, since 1982. Also he was a Liberal fellow in law and politics at Harvard Law School, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States, in 1985 - 1986.

Achievements

• Timothy is famous for his book "Bakke and the Politics of Equality: Friends and Foes in the Classroom of Litigation", which was published in 1985.
