He was born in 1930 at Ilesa, a city in Osun State, southwestern Nigeria to the family of Pastor and Mr. David Obadare who was a farmer.

He was taken to a missionary hospital in Lagos for treatment and unknown prophet in the hospital reveled that he was provided with an extraordinary eyes beyond the visible eyes. He later received several honorary degrees from notable universities. He was baptized in 1949, the same year he accepted Jesus christ.
He later founded "the World Soul Winning Evangelistic Ministry"in August 1974.
Prior to his demise on March 2013, he was the President of the Interdenominational Ministers’ Association of Nigeria (Institute for Mathematics and its Applications).
