He studied history and literature at Harvard University where he graduated in 2009.
Career
He later attended the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom, where he graduated in 2012 from the Directing Animation course. Reckart is currently based in Los Angeles where he also does work in multiplane collage animation, digital 2D animation, and pixilation. Foreign 2017, he is directing at Sony Pictures Animation a computer-animated film The Lamb, which tells a "story of a young sheep whose destiny is to change the world.".
