Education
Ting-pu Yang graduated from the Japanese Military Officers’ College Tokyo and Toyama School.
Career
He served as section chief, secretary and counsellor to the Minitary of War of the Peking Government in 1912-1915, Chief of Staff to the Headquarters of the Military Governor of Szechuan in 1916, Chief of Staff of the Garrison Headquarters of Peiping and later of the Garrison Headquarters of Peiping and Tientsin in 1929. He was member of the College of Marshals in 1932, military attache to the Chinese Legation in Japan in 1932-1934, senior staff officer of the Board of General Staff of the National Government.
