Career
The 6ft 1in point guard played at Azusa Pacific University, where he was acknowledged nationally as an National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics All-American in 1998 and 1999. He is the nephew of the former National Basketball Association player James Hardy (Utah Jazz). Walker signed for the British club Newcastle Eagles in 2000 after a spell with the International Basketball Association team Saskatchewan Hawks from 1999 to 2000.
However, after just a few months with the Jets, Walker sustained a serious knee injury and returned to the United States of America for surgery.
